SOME KIND OF TITLE

Jippe Liefbroer designs objects that you don’t really need and shouldn’t really want, and in the process question our ideologies. He sees value in second hand-objects and materials as they carry a sense of past and history that stimulates and provides a context for his work. The information that these objects carry sets the scene for believable and grounded narratives—not only in a conceptual sense but also in the ways in which they incorporate an existing visual language. In this way Jippe explores the entanglements between the future and the present through humour and wit.
